1992年毕业于英国卡的夫大学法学院，获法学博士学位。现任复旦大学法学院教授，博士生导师，中国海商法协会会员、兼北京大学海商法研究中心客座研究员。主要研究方向是海商法和国际贸易法。代表性专著有：《提单免责条款及其对海运货物保险的影响》，武汉大学出版社，2005年四月版。
