人物简介简·西摩尔1951年2月15日生于英国米德尔塞克斯郡。两岁开始勤习芭蕾舞，13岁即登台表演。16岁时因膝盖受伤而被迫放弃舞蹈生涯，转而向演艺圈发展。1969年涉足影视圈，出演银幕处女作《多可爱的战争》，1973年在《生死关头》中成功出演了邦德女郎。1979年在第二任丈夫的鼓励下，前往美国发展。
1980年简·西摩尔在经典爱情片《时光倒流七十年》中将其浪漫成熟之美表现无遗。其后将主要精力投向电视界，曾先后在荧屏上饰演过皇后、贵妇等多样角色，其古典高贵的气质令人为之倾倒，更赢得“电视剧皇后” 的美誉，也是少数能摆脱“007”电影阴影的邦德女郎之一。1984年后她就鲜在大荧幕上出现，参演的作品较少。曾与Micheal Attenborough、Geoffrey Planer和David Flynn有过三段失败的婚姻。曾与David Flynn育有二个儿女。1993年5月与现任丈夫James Keach结婚，育有一对双胞胎儿子。
