刘焕明

刘焕明,男,博士,香港中文大学物理系讲座教授,理学院院长,许昌学院客座教授。

1976年本科毕业于香港中文大学化学系,1982 获University of British Columbia化学博士学位。1986-1993年任加拿大西安大略大学Surface Science Western高级研究员;

1993-1995年任加拿大西安大略大学材料工程系副教授,1995-1997年任加拿大西安大略大学材料工程系教授;1997-2000年任香港中文大学材料科学系教授、系主任;1998-2003年任香港中文大学物理系教授、系主任;2001-2003年任香港中文大学材料科学和技术研究中心主任;1998年至今任香港中文大学先进表面材料测试分析中心主任;2002年至今任香港中文大学科学技术研究所主任;2003年至今任任香港中文大学理学院院长。曾主持完成过数十项国外及香港资助项目。其研究工作已发表SCI收录论文近200篇,其中有数十篇发表在影响因子为3以上的学术杂志上。
