该乐队成立于2003年于美国的明尼苏达州，是一个单人团黑金属乐队，其知名度很小，出版《Dolor》这盘专辑之前，曾经制作过一张同名小样，个人感觉其受到北欧黑金属文化影响，这盘《Dolor》是一盘典型的Depressive Black Metal，提到抑郁黑金属就不得不提一下Burzum的Varg，Veil应该受其影响很深。
