大连经济技术开发区万里电信工程有限公司成立于1998年，注册资本800万元，是以通信设施配套、工程策划、设计、施工、维护为主的专业化企业。具有国家建设部核发的通信工程施工叁级资质，规模和实力位于全市同行前列。
公司自成立以来，始终致力于本地区网络通信的应用、普及和发展，并伴随通信网的规模扩大，技术更新而不断扩展主营业务。目前公司业务主要承接程控交换、传输设备、数据通信、计算机网络、通信管道、通信线路、综合布线有线电视等综合配套工程的规划设计、安装与调测以及光缆线路、交换局和模块局设备技术支援在内的各种通信设备、网络的售后服务、维护、网优、技术支持与咨询项目等业务。

二、公司大记实：为顺利实现奥运圣火在大连金石滩风景区传递的媒体现场直播，不怕艰难迎接挑战——创造三天
干完原计划二十多天工程量的奇迹！
七月十九日奥运圣火在金石滩风景区进行圣火传递，七月十二日万电成功通过大连市网通公司的资质审核和考察成为此次圣火传递媒体通信工程唯一指定的建设施工单位，负责传递全程的媒体通信建设施工，通信建设总长度三十七公里，其中包括：六公里新建管道的敷设；二公里的障碍性破道挖掘和恢复；六条十二芯光缆的穿放；六个媒体直播数据点的设备装配以及调试。此次工程由于时间紧迫，万电人上下团结一心，发扬“迎奥运，坚定信心，不怕疲劳”的精神，以三天时间抢干完原定计划二十多天的工程量，并且保质保量移交市广电中心。七月十八日当天配合中央电视台、辽宁电视台、大连电视台等多家媒体成功完成对冲信号的链接和调试，为十九日当天的圣火传递实况直播工作提供了有力保障。圣火传递活动结束后万电受到上级机关领导的高度赞扬，《大连日报》、《大连晚报》、《开放区先导报》、《开发区电视台》等多家媒体争先对万电的先进事迹予以报导。万电人以实际行动为祖国的奥运事业加油、呐喊！
