《迷情交叉点》剧情介绍道格和他怀了三个月身孕的妻子琳，在一次往返墨西哥的度假回程中，由琳驾驶的吉普车却意外的撞死一名警察，在牢囚与自由的抉择上，道格与琳逃离车祸现场，回到加州。然而车祸的阴霾却在平静无波的生活上困扰他们。一位陌生人夏尔的来访，使琳与道格长久以来的恶梦愈发真实，夫妻惊觉到夏尔是车祸的目击证人，因此使主客的身份急转直下，如今夏尔控制了这个家，他不要钱也不怕死，危机蛰伏，使道格和琳的生活有如炼狱一般。但随著时间的流逝，夏尔的诡异行动却逐步地露出蛛丝马迹。
