托马斯·米切尔
简介姓名托马斯•米切尔(Thomas Mitchell)资料美国早期极负盛名的性格演员，影剧两栖，除了演戏外还从事写作。 他1892年7月11日生于新泽西州伊丽莎白城。早年当过当地一家日报的记者，后来撰写了不少剧本，先后都被搬上舞台和银幕。例如《一件小事》是他同弗洛依德•德尔合写的，1930年、1939年曾两次被改编拍成同名影片，到1944年，又三度上银幕，但片名改为《棕发的卡萨诺瓦》。
历程演员作为演员，米切尔早在1923年就拍过一部无声片《六角恋爱》。二十年代至三十年代中期主要在舞台上献艺。1936年以《克莱格的妻子》一片重返影坛。三年后，应约翰•福特的邀请，参加了《驿马车》的演出。他饰医生道克•布恩，酒喝得醉熏熏，后见车上有个女子要分娩，便强作清醒，给她接了生，其神态真是妙趣横生。更感动人的是布恩被打死一场戏，由于演员的精湛表演，该场戏已列为电影史上的经典场面之一。所以，米切尔夺最佳男配角桂冠是当之无愧的。
