叶家琛
同济大学教授男，1944年2月16日生，浙江湖州人，代数学家。
1966年毕业于华东师范大学数学系。1978年回华东师范大学数学系当研究生，并在1984年获得理学博士学位。从1984年12月起，任同济大学应用数学系讲师、副教授，1990年晋升为教授。其中1993年1月至6月访问联邦德国波恩的Max-Planck数学研究所，1996年3月至11月访问意大利的里亚斯特的Abdus Salam理论物理国际中心，1997年12月访问日本大阪的大阪市立大学， 1998年4月至5月访问澳大利亚悉尼的新南威尔士大学，1999年5月至6月和2001年11月至2002年1月先后两次访问联邦德国比勒菲尔特的比勒菲尔尔特大学。2002年1月到2007年12月受聘为Abdus Salam理论物理国际中心的高级协作员。
长期从事基础数学的教学工作和代数群的模表示理论及相关课题的科研工作，成绩斐然。主要研究成果有:与王建磐教授合作的项目《代数群模表示理论中的若干问题》获得1987年度国家教委科技进步二等奖；与陈承东教授合作的项目《代数群的模表示理论中的一些问题》获得1996年度国家教委科技进步二等奖。自1989年以来负责主持的国家自然科学基金面上项目有: 《代数群表示理论的若干问题》、《代数群的模表示中的一些问题》、《代数群的模表示与子群结构》、《代数群的子群结构与表示理论》和《代数群、量子群与李代数的结构与表示》等五项，以及教育部博士点专项基金《代数群与量子群的模表示理论》等。此外，在1991年被国务院学位委员会和国家教育委员会授予《做出突出贡献的中国博士学位获得者》称号；1998年被上海市教育委员会授予《优秀教育工作者》称号。关于李型有限群表示的研究论文被收入Springer-Verlag的Lecture Notes In Mathematics.
