Leonard M. Adleman
Leonard M.Adleman出生于1945年12月31日于加州, Adleman分别于1968年和1976年从加州Berkeley获得其数学学士学位和EECS的博士学位。
Leonard M.Adleman获得2002年图灵奖，以表彰其使得公钥密（RSA）技术在实际中可用的创造性贡献。
1994年，Leonard M.Adleman发表了其著名的DNA计算的研究文章--“Molecular Computation of Solutions To Combinatorial Problems"。在该篇文章中，Adleman通过DNA序列的方法来解决著名的NP完全性问题Hamilton Graph。开创了DNA计算这门学科的先河。
