公司简介涡轮（Turbine）是一家私营网络游戏开发商。于1994年在美国马萨诸塞州西木市由Jon Monsarrat, Jeremy Gaffney, Kevin Langevin以及Timothy Miller 4人所创办。公司早于1999年11月推出阿瑟龙的召唤（Asheron's Call），成为欧美网游界早期重要作品之一。其后于2002年11月推出阿瑟龙的召唤2。虽然该作并未成功，但却成为市面上首款网游续作。

2005年2月15日，公司正式更名为涡轮（Turbine）。1年后，龙与地下城在线推出。2007年4月，涡轮推出第二款成功作品指环王在线（The Lord of the Rings Online）。
