Volcano Choir由乐队Bon Iver的主音Justin Vernon和他几个朋友（乐队名字叫Collections of Colonies of Bees 名字真长）共同组成，这张专辑里大多数的歌是05年左右一群人在原本的乐队巡演时候写的。Bon Iver的Blindsided今年曾出现在美剧Brothers and Sisters，搭配的很是优美。类似的这样的合作有the postal service,03年的那张give up是一张很出色的作品。
