高居翰

高居翰(James Cahill，1926- )

学习经历：

1950年获加利佛尼亚伯克利大学东方语言系学士学位，1952、1958分别获密歇根Ann Arbor大学艺术史系硕士和博士学位。

研究领域：中国古代绘画史

简介：

作为中国绘画史研究的资深元老，高居翰曾长期担任加利佛尼亚伯克利大学（The University of California at Berkeley）艺术史和研究生院的教授，以及美国华盛顿弗利尔美术馆（The Freer Gallery of Art）中国书画部顾问，他的著作多是由在各大学授课的讲稿修订，或是充分利用博物馆资源编纂而成，皆是通过风格分析研究中国绘画史的经典书籍，享有世界范围的学术声誉。后期，他又对中国古代绘画中的性别问题产生兴趣。
