《 世界竹藤》内容简介该书由全国政协人口资源环境委员会副主任、国际竹藤组织董事会联合主席、中国竹产业协会会长江泽慧教授主编。作为对国际竹藤组织成立十周年的献礼,《世界竹藤》总结了世界竹藤培育加工和资源综合利用等方面的科研和工业利用最新进展。全书约60万字共22章，分上下两篇。上篇内容涉及竹资源的种类和分布，竹林培育和病虫害防治，种质资源保存与改良，竹材构造性质和加工利用，以及竹产品国际贸易、竹文化概览等；下篇包括棕榈藤的分类，培育和管理，藤的加工和利用，藤资源的可持续发展等。

作者简介
江泽慧教授，中国林科院首席科学家，博士生导师，博士后指导小组成员，我国著名木材科学家和学科带头人。现任全国政协人口资源环境委员会副主任，国家林业局党组成员，中国林业科学研究院院长，中国林科院图书馆馆长，国家林业局科技委副主任，中国花卉协会会长，中国林学会第一副理事长，国际木材科学院院士、中国木材学会常务副理事长，国际竹藤组织董事会联合主席，国际木材解剖学会会员，中国科学技术协会常务委员会委员，国务院学位委员会林业工程学科评审组成员、《全国农业科技发展纲要》领导小组成员兼专家顾问组副组长、《林业科学研究》主编、《中国现代科学全书》(林业工程卷)主编。
江泽慧教授长期从事森林利用学、木材学、木材解剖学的教学、科研、管理工作，先后主持或参加国家重大科技攻关项目、国家自然基金项目、攀登计划项目及省市科研项目21项，其中主持13项。获国家、省部级科技进步奖12项，其中国家科技进步二等奖2项、三等奖1项，省部级科技进步一等奖3项，二等奖3项，三等奖3项，出版《东南亚木材识别及用途》《中国新林种抑螺防病林研究》《中国现代林业》等专著5部，《木材学》教材1部、主编论文集3部，发表学术论文60余篇，享受国务院特殊津贴，1995年国家教委授予巾帼建功标兵。指导培养硕士生15名，现指导博士生5人。
江泽慧教授先后主持国家攀登计划项目、“973”项目、“863”项目、国家自然基金重点项目等，获国家、省部级科技进步奖12项，出版专著有《世界主要树种木材科学特性》《世界竹藤》《绿竹神气》《中国林业工程》《长江中下游低丘滩地综合治理与开发研究》等10部，在国内外刊物发表学术论文90余篇。先后培养林业工程学科博士研究生、博士后30余人。
获奖情况2009年12月，2008年正式出版的《世界竹藤》英文版等荣获全国政协人口资源环境委员会、全国绿化委员会、国家林业局、国家广播电影电视总局、中华全国新闻工作者协会、中国绿化基金会、国家林业局联合授予的第四届梁希林业图书期刊奖。
