Jessica Rawson

Jessica Rawson，教授，著名考古学家，汉学家，现为牛津大学副校长（Pro-Vice-Chancellor），牛津大学墨顿学院院长（Warden of Merton College），英国学术院院士（Fellow of the British Academy），高级英帝国女勋爵士（Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire）。

Rawson教授1943年出生于英国，早年曾就读于剑桥大学与伦敦大学。1976年到1994年间先后担任大英博物馆东方古物部（Department of Oriental Antiquities at the British Museum）代理主任、主任，曾是大英图书馆（the British Library）董事会成员，艺术基金顾问委员会（Art Fund's Advisory Council）委员。1990年入选英国学术院院士(Fellow of the British Academy)，1994年起任教于牛津大学并任墨顿学院院长（Warden of Merton College, Oxford），2002年因对汉学研究的卓著贡献被英国女王授予高级英帝国女勋爵士（Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire），2006年起任牛津大学副校长（Pro-Vice-Chancellor at the University of Oxford）。

Rawson教授是著名的艺术史学家，考古学家，汉学家，任教于牛津大学东方学院及考古学院。她的学术研究覆盖中国艺术和考古的各个领域，对汉代宗教与信仰的发展及其在汉代墓葬中的表现等方面有着特殊的研究兴趣，她的研究还涉及中国古代青铜器、陶瓷与纺织品的装饰与制造。
