Mojito名字来源“Mojito”的名字来源于西班牙语中带有酸橙汁口味的莫霍少司（Mojo Sauce），而“Mojo”这个词来源于西班牙语中的动词“Mojar”，意思是“弄湿”。读起来是(mo-Hee-toe)。

“Mojito”诞生于1910年的古巴。美国作家海明威（Ernest Hemingway）在古巴首都哈瓦那居住时，经常挂在嘴边的一句话就是“我的Daiquiri在La Floridita（哈瓦那著名酒吧），我的Mojito在Bodeguita（哈瓦那著名酒吧）”。可见其对这两款鸡尾酒的喜爱。

在影片“迈阿密风云”（Miami Vice）中，巩俐问科林-法瑞尔（Colin Farrell）“要喝点什么”时，他回答“我是Mojito的朋友”。随后就看到两人上了游艇飞驰在大西洋上，居然真的为了喝一杯“Mojito”，从迈阿密赶去了哈瓦那那家“Bodeguita”酒吧。

制作方法用料：

白朗姆酒：45ml

青柠、柠檬：各1/4个

白砂糖：2茶匙

苏打水：150ml

薄荷：１枝

碎冰：１杯

做法：

１、薄荷洗净，放入清水中浸泡一会儿，取下嫩尖，余下的部分加入白砂糖一起捣碎；

２、把薄荷碎放入杯中；

３、青柠和柠檬切尖角，分别挤出果汁，并把青柠角和柠檬角也放入杯中；

４、将冰块放入杯中；

５、倒入朗姆酒，再倒入苏打水，最后用薄荷的嫩尖装饰即可。

Mint sprig 薄荷枝

Rip the mint leaves and rub them round the rim before dropping them in the empty glass. Lightly muddle the mint by pressing it with the flat end of a barspoon. Half fill the glass with crushed ice. Add the rum, lime juice and sugar syrup. Churn. Fill with crushed ice and top with a tiny dash of soda water.

Mojitos were probably originally made with light rum, but golden or dark rum improves them immensely.Popular modern variations are the Champagne Mojito (topping the drink with champagne instead of soda), and the Ginger Mojito (muddling some fresh root ginger with the ingredients). Some prefer to muddle fresh limes with granular sugar, making a sort of mojito-caipirinha hybrid, but lime juice and sugar syrup is authentic.
