简介简介：Carter Jenkins began his acting career in his home town of Tampa, Florida, beginning with Community Theatre around the age of seven. His parents thought this would pacify his desire to be an actor, but they couldn't have been more wrong! After the performance of a community play Carter was approached by a local agent. That night set things rolling. After booking local and national commercials, Carter really wanted more. In July of 2002 he and his mother traveled to L.A. for training. After two weeks in L.A., he was represented by a top agent and was soon getting auditions as well as callbacks and bookings. Coming from a very close family and not wanting to be separated, his success made it necessary for the family to make the move to Los Angeles. Carter now lives in Los Angeles with his parents, his older sister and older brother (also an actor). In addition to acting Carter enjoys playing baseball, basketball and football. He loves being with his family and having fun. And although not living in Tampa Florida anymore, he is still a Buccaneers fan.

Jenkins began performing in community theatre, and then on local and national commercials. He has starred in television shows such asSurface, Viva Laughlin, CSI Miami,House, CSI: NY, Without a Trace, The Bernie Mac Show,Unfabulousalong with feature films Aliens in the Attic, Bad News Bears, Keeping Up with the Steins, Life is Ruff and short film "A Day’s Work".
In 2010, he appeared inValentine's Day, playing the boyfriend ofEmma Roberts' character. His upcoming roles includeArcadia Lost, about a mystic adventure through remote villages in Greece, in which Jenkins plays oppositeHaley Bennettand Nick Nolte.Jenkins was born inTampa,Floridato Mary and Eric Jenkins, and was raised in Carrollwood, Florida, where he attended Independent Day School.His family later moved to Sherman Oaks, California.He has an older brother, Renneker Jenkins, who is also an actor, and an older sister, Tiffany. Like his character inKeeping Up with the Steins, Jenkins is Jewish, and attended Hebrew school.
Jenkins lives in Los Angeles with his parents and siblings, three dogs and four cats. He plays baseball and football on the weekends with friends and family and is a poker player whilst regularly updating his twitter page.
