Barcelona于2007年9月独立发行了首张专辑《Absolutes》，为了能够专注于歌曲创作，他们建立了自己的品牌NBD Music。2008年12月18日Barcelona乐队签约Universal Records环球唱片公司，环球唱片重新整合了《Absolutes》与Barcelona的4首新歌，新版《Absolutes》专辑在2009年4月28日发行。
