王罗新，男，38岁，武汉纺织大学纺织高分子研究所副所长，硕士生导师，四川大学材料学专业博士毕业，清华大学博士后。

作为项目负责人目前承担了教育部重点项目、湖北省教育厅重大项目、省自然科学基金和武汉市科技攻关计划等。作为核心研究人员参与了国家自然科学重点项目、国防973项目以及多项横向课题的研究工作。在高分子材料、纺织材料和助剂、材料物理和化学等领域有较深入的研究。
