Annoying Orangeis a comedy web series created by Dane Boedigheimer, which began in October 9, 2009. By June 2010, it had amassed over 137 million views on YouTube. Starting on January 11, 2010, the Annoying Orange got his own YouTube channel, and as of July 13, 2010 is ranked as the 15th most subscribed channel all time.

Background
The show features an animated talking orange, who has no name, played by Dane Boedigheimer, who heckles other skittles or nearby animated objects with puns and laughter. Orange lives on somebody's kitchen counter, which he shares with his best friend Pear (a Bartlett pear) who finds him just as annoying as everyone else he encounters. Passion, a female passion fruit, also lives in the kitchen but on another counter. Most episodes consist of Orange bothering whomever/whatever he is talking to, only to have the annoyed party meet a gruesome end (usually by evisceration with a knife, which Orange tries to warn them about before it happens).Boedigheimer also plays Pear, while
Passion is played by Justine "iJustine" Ezarik.
