1980年2月参加工作，1984年9月加入中国共产党。中共甘肃省清水县委副书记。工作简历1980年2月至198４年3月在原天水县农机局工作；
1984年4月至1990年4月在天水市北道区劳动人事局工作；
1990年5月至1992年11月在天水市北道区就业局、社保局任副局长；
1992年12月至1998年3月在天水市北道区社会保障局任局长；
1998年3月至2001年1月在天水市北道区政府办公室任主任；
2001年1月至2003年3月任中共天水市北道区委办公室主任、区委助理调研员；
2003年3月任中共清水县委常委、宣传部长；
2004年4月至9月在中共天津市河北区委挂职，任区委书记助理；
2005年2月任中共清水县委常委、组织部长；
2006年1月任中共清水县委常委、县政府常务副县长。
