简介(brief introduction)
[a]在1965年，于戈壁沙漠发掘了另外一种恐龙具有可怕的爪子，仅仅前臂与手指部份的骨骼挖掘出来──但是光这一部份伸长可达到三米！每一个指头都饰以尖锐的，勾状的爪子，每一只爪子长达二十至三十厘米。有一位古生物学者写道，当他想像整个恐龙的模样时真是毛骨悚然，它可能是曾经生存过的恐龙中最为恐怖的一种。因为以＂可怖的利爪＂而命名恐爪龙早已被用过了，因此古生物学家将这只命名为恐手龙，原意为恐怖的臂膀。
