作为LP第4张录音室专辑，此砖可以说是续3年前M2M低迷“另类”后的现代升级版(制作人还是来之M2M专辑，哥伦比亚唱片公司总裁之一Rick Rubin）。
随着这10年的经历，估计LP很想把自己以前的3张专辑里的各类歌曲风格上做一次延伸。歌曲里有的有着HT上重金属混着Chester爆吼的《Blackout》，有着LP史上第一个主唱（假？）女声《The Requiem》，有着正统LP式的《Wretches and Kings》《The Catalyst》《Waiting For The End》，有着标准当今Pop/Rock主流流行歌风格的《Burning in the Skies》《The Messenger》《Iridescent》，有着Mike一路Rap下来野味十足的《When They Come For Me》，有着风格另类的小插曲《The Radiance》《Wisdom，Justice and Love》《Fallout》《Jornada del Muorte》。
总的来说，ATS是张标着“独立”的标准“商业”专辑。LP一直稳定的走着这条路，独立的创作才能和环境加上一流的商业操作指向。使之往往很难使一些铁粉丝短时间内接受新歌，但LP始终是LP，一张专辑里总是有那么几首让每个人满意。
