附注

text note（附注）

附注就是对文字的附加的解释和说明。目的是为了让别人和自己很容易看懂。对书籍或文章的语汇、内容、背景、引文作介绍、评议的文字。

例：

A thesis crowded with references to other sources

有旁徵博引附注的论文The asterisk refers the reader to a footnote.

星标指示读者叁阅附注。An extensive commentary, often accompanying a text or publication.

集注概括的注解说明，常附于课文或出版物后面The act or process of furnishing critical commentary or explanatory notes.

注解，注释，评注评注或注解的行为或过程the head of anannotationor gloss.
