贝儿最喜欢看书了，因为在书里面，她可以借着自己的想象力飞到远处，体会浪漫，她甚至会为了自己喜欢的书看上一遍又一遍。而在那个她出生的法国小村长里，美丽的贝儿却被看作另类。她曾经认为野兽是残酷的，并俘虏了她的爸爸，而为了解救她的父亲，她自己做为替代品，被“囚禁”起来，但是后来她才发现，野兽的内心是温柔善良的，而贝儿最后爱上了野兽，并为整个城堡带来了无限欢乐。
