1、学校简介
江苏省张家港高级中学是江苏省重点中学，四星级普通实验高中,在原张家港市一中高中部办学基础上易地新建的一所全寄宿制现代化普通高级中学，新校区于2000年9月落成开学。它拥有先进的办学理念，一流的现代装备，强大的师资阵容，严格的科学管理和理想的教育质量。
江苏省张家港高级中学占地150亩，建筑面积45000平方米，总投资两个多亿。
学校布局设计富有新意，建筑结构雄伟振奋，有着花园式的工作、学习与生活环境和一流的现代教育设备。五大系统（计算机网络系统、闭路电视系统、电话通讯系统、广播音响系统、观摩安保系统）居全国领先水平，体育艺术馆、多功能报告厅、400米塑胶跑道田径场、高标准理化生实验室等场馆设施一应俱全。每个普通教室都配有辅助教室并配备全套多媒体教学装备，学生公寓设有卫生间和淋浴装置，并设电话电脑终端。
江苏省张家港高级中学拥有一流的师资，学校以原张家港市第一中学（高中部）师资为基底，面向全国招聘名优教师。两多来已经进行了六次大规模的教师招聘活动。经严格考核，学校从来自全国30个省市自治区的5800多名应聘者中择优录用了六十多位名优秀教师。学校现有一线任课教师141名（教职工总人数204人），其中特级教师3人，江苏省名教师1人，苏州市名教师、名校长2人，省级骨干教师、学科带头人4名，地市级学科带头人6人，县市级学科带头人、教学能手38人。

The brief introduction of Zhangjiagang Senior High School
Based on Zhangjiagang No.1 Middle School and transferred to another place, Zhangjiagang Senior High School is a newly-built modern boarding school. Founded in September, 2000, it has advanced tenet for running a school, first-class modern equipment, mighty teaching staff, strict and scientific regulation and ideal teaching quality.
Zhangjiagang Senior High School occupies an area of 150 mu and construction area of 45,000 square meters with a total investment of RMB 100,000,000.
The overall arrangement of the school implies new ideas, scientific and reasonable construction structure, garden-like living, studying and working environment and first-class teaching equipment make Zhangjiagang Senior High School a modern and advanced teaching base. Zhangjiagang Senior High School owns first-class teaching staff, The original teachers are those from Zhangjiagang No.1 Middle School，and more new teachers are recruited national-wide. Up to now we have held six enrolling activities and over 60 excellent teachers from more than 30 provinces have been recruited. At present we have a teaching staff 204 including 141 teachers working on platform, among whom 3 are special-class teachers, 1 Jiangsu province famous teacher, 2 suzhou famous teacher and principals, 4 provincial subject-leading teachers,
6 civic subject-leading teachers and 38 county subject-leading teachers.
