OK Go

98年秋天成军的OK Go，阵中三位成员吉他手Andrew Duncan、贝斯手Tim Nordwind与鼓手Dan Konopka其实早已组成Stanley's Joyful Noise乐团开始活动，最后才加入由华盛顿DC移居至芝加哥的主唱Damian Kulash底定编制并正式更名。短短几个月的时间内，OK Go便在尚未有任何专辑问世的情况下得到传媒的高度瞩目，这完全要归功于该团密集的演出(包括为Elliott Smith等暖场)以及活力十足的现场台风；甚至不仅National Public Radio名主持人Ira Glass与Gretchen Helfrich对他们青睐有加，就连传奇独立乐团They Might Be Giants鬼才主脑John Flansburgh也看上该团潜力而出任经纪人。独立发表两首单曲后，OK Go于2001年四月签入主流大厂Capitol旗下，并在一年多后祭出这张团名处男大碟OK Go。
