中国燃气涡轮研究院是以先进航空动力技术预先研究、产品研制开发和整机鉴定试验为主业的航空科研事业单位，隶属于中国航空工业第一集团公司。

China Gas Turbine Establishment (GTE) is an aeronautical research organization specializing in the advanced study of aero propulsion technology, product development and engine certification tests. The establishment is subordinated to China Aviation Industry Corporation I (AVIC I).

GTE persists in seeking for an advanced position in aero-engine design, test and instrumentation technologies. The establishment devotes itself to turbine machinery development with full intellectual propriety rights.
