指展开后可成为叶或花的芽。有在伸展的枝条顶端上开花的〔苹果（Malus pumila）、葡萄（Vitisvinifera）、梨（Pyrus）〕，也有花生于叶腋的（栎树Quercus spp．、无花果Ficus carica、桑Morusspp．）。
