Backdoor/Rirc.b通过弱口令和网络共享进行传播。
传播过程及特征：
1.复制自身为下列之一：
%System%FF.exe
%System%Xi.exe
2.Windows 95/98/Me：
修改System.ini文件下的[Boot]项为: shell=Explorer.exe %SYSTEM%FF.EXE
Windows NT/2000/XP：
修改注册表HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows NT/CurrentVersion/Winlogon下的键值为：
"Shell" = "%SYSTEM%FF.EXE"
3.通过连接特定的的IRC频道，发送感染病毒计算机的信息。
4.企图利用内置的密码库登陆到随机选择的IP地址，登陆成功后便复制自身到远程计算机的Startup(启动)文件夹下，文件名为Setup.exe。
注：%Windir%为变量，一般为C:Windows 或 C:Winnt；
%System%为变量，一般为C:WindowsSystem (Windows 95/98/Me),
C:WinntSystem32 (Windows NT/2000), 或
C:WindowsSystem32 (Windows XP)。
