01年10月二人从销声匿迹的哥特厄运乐队Seraph中重新站立起来投身于创作更极端的地下黑金属音乐,12月新乐队命名.02年4月完成首张专辑PAGAN'S HYMN.所有乐迷都能从中感受到那份深受Ulver、Gorgoroth、Emperor等团早期作品影响所散发出的狂暴气质.其后的同名小专辑更加完善了这种风格.06年4月乐队参与了SARS纪念拼版专辑348?的创作计划.四首恢宏凶猛的作品,Emperor与Iron Maiden曲式的完美融合.

大多数乐迷将MartyrdoM的乐风描述为原始黑金属或残暴黑金属.甚至有人说他们是没有键盘的"皇帝".但MartyrdoM显然更愿意做他们自己!
