剧情介绍剧情梗概1979年，一个由3男1女组成的电影摄制小组在南美洲丛林中拍摄关于食人族的纪录影片时失踪了。一年后，他们的电影胶片被发现并带回了美国，而这部电影正是那卷胶片。
本片剧情采取倒叙的方式，描述几名摄影工作者深入亚马逊丛林，寻找消失的食人族部落，没想到却一去不回。一位教授在电视台资助下出发前往该丛林探究原因，最后带回一批影片，上面正是纪录了这些摄影者的整个探险过程：他们先侵害土族，然后遭到当地的原始部落食人族活活吞食而死！
