主演查利·希恩，出生在一个演艺世家，父亲马丁辛（现代启示录）、哥哥艾米里埃斯特维都是演员。查理辛是好莱坞有名的“坏小子”，曾多次因吸毒与伤害罪被起诉。1986年因演出奥斯卡最佳影片《野战排》而成名，1991年以爆笑喜剧《机飞总动员》大受欢迎。
乔安妮·惠利出身自英伦皇家剧场，12岁便演出电视剧走红。18岁时首次在音乐片《迷墙》中亮相。在英国演了几部电影後，被选为好莱坞科幻片《风云际会》的女主角，并和搭档的男主角方基墨于88年结为夫妻，结婚七年，期间她甚至冠上夫姓作艺名，但最后仍走上离异一途。她在89年的英国片《丑闻女神》演妓女颠倒众生，获得演技上的好评。94年出任《续乱世佳人》迷你连续剧的女主角，事前大受瞩目，但推出後反应不如理想。
