剧情介绍因为母亲再婚，史考提（汤姆坚瑞 饰）举家搬到盐湖城附近的一个小镇。棒球是小镇上孩子们最热衷的运动，但是，史考提从来没有玩过。附近八个年纪相仿的小男孩常在沙地上打棒球，史考提在教练班尼（麦克威特 饰 ）的介绍之下加入了球队。教练班尼曾经是棒球场上的传奇人物，这九个沙地上的小英雄们在班尼的训练之下，会再度延续这样的棒球旋风吗？
