时玉舫

时玉舫,男,山东临沂人,著名华裔免疫学家,T细胞凋亡机制的发现者之一。
履历:
1982:学士,兽医学,山东农业大学。
1988:硕士,寄生虫学,加拿大Alberta 大学。
1992:博士,免疫学学位,加拿大Alberta 大学,师从著名免疫学家Dr. Douglas R Green。
1993-1995:博士后,Toronto大学Dr. Gordon B. Mills 实验室。
1995: 受聘于美国红十字会的Holland 医学生物研究所及乔治华盛顿大学任免疫学研究员及助理教授,1999晋升为高级研究员及副教授。
2001:受聘到新泽西州立医科大学的分子遗传、微生物及免疫学系任副教授,并获该大学的特聘教授(University Professor) 称号。于2003
年7月晋升为终身教授。同时受聘为新泽西癌症研究所研究员。
2000:开始担任美国航天生物医学研究所免疫及感染专家组成员。同时兼乔治华盛顿大学、昆明动物研究所, 第四军医大学,及南方医科大学的客座教授。
研究工作简介:
首先发现了激活诱导的淋巴细胞死亡(activation-induced cell death, AICD);是c-myc 对细胞凋亡调节作用的发现者之一;其早年间从事的Rapamycin 促进癌细胞凋亡的研究目前已成为癌症治疗领域中探讨的新方向;首先证实Fas 介导的淋巴细胞凋亡与应激反应或鸦片所致的免疫抑制有关;最近证明CD4+ T细胞在哮喘中的决定性作用;目前正从事成体干细胞的免疫调节机制的研究。研究成果对探讨癌症、感染,过敏及自身免疫机制有重要意义。
从1997年起任 Cell Research 杂志的 Associate Editor和 Editor。
1999-2002年任 Journal of Immunology 杂志Associate Editor。
