剧情介绍由于认为丈夫查利有外遇，佩吉·休一怒之下和其分居。佩吉·休回母校参加校庆，遇到了当年的许多同窗好友。联欢会逐渐进入了高潮，热烈的气氛使佩吉·休呼吸困难，昏倒在地……她似乎回到了25年前，那时她18岁。为了免除将来的不幸和痛苦，佩吉·休发誓决不爱上查利。她看中了颓废派诗人迈克尔，一心想同他结婚。但专注于农场和饲养场的迈克尔的心思却根本就没在佩吉·休身上，失望之余，她还是同查利相爱，结婚并生下了孩子……苏醒过来的佩吉·休发现查利正陪伴在身边，他热泪盈眶，后悔不已，恳求她的原谅。
