小园是在废弃的慕田峪村小学的原址建立起来的。原来的小学是在八十年代为了铺建通往长城的公路拆掉老的小学后建立的。
我们的经营方针是可持续发展的旅游项目。我们利用原有的建筑，雇用和培训当地的员工，采购当地的食品原料，销售当地制造的手工艺术品。我们展销厅有许多优秀的艺术玻璃制品在展示。

The Schoolhouse was once Mutianyu's primary school and since the early 1990's stood abandoned until we leased the building and grounds from the village government in 2006. We welcome you to come out and explore our park-like campus.
