主要研究方向：

1、鱼类免疫学：鱼类细胞因子基因的克隆、表达与活性鉴定。重点研究鱼类促炎细胞因子，包括干扰素、白介素、肿瘤坏死因子、趋化性因子和转化生长因子对特异性发生和非特异性免疫的调节机制等。

2、海洋动物病害控制：包括鲍鱼、鱼类的健康养殖体系的建立与重大疾病防治。

主要工作成果与获奖：

获得省部级科技进步二等奖三项，三等奖6项；天津市优秀科技分子称号和天津市人才奖等。

主持科研课题

主持自然科学基金两项，省部级科技攻关三项，国家863计划一项，参加国家863计划两项，973计划一项。
