简历：
1978-1985年就读于兰州大学化学系，获学士和硕士学位， 1991-1993年获日本文部省国费奖学金在日本茨城大学研修，1996年获日本千叶大学博士学位，1996-1998年武汉大学博士后，2000.06-2000.09 厦门大学化学系教育部高级访问学者，2002年分别在美国Iowa州立大学和加州大学Riverside分校做高级访问学者。现任武汉大学化学与分子科学学院分析科学研究中心主任。主要研究方向为新型分离介质及其在复杂体系分离分析中的应用。迄今已在国内外学术刊物上发表论文180多篇，其中SCI学术刊物120余篇，论文被国内外同行引用436次(SCI他引332次)，获授权国家发明专利10项，实用新型专利2项。主持承担或完成的主要科研项目有国家杰出青年科学基金、国家自然科学基金、教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划和教育部优秀青年教师资助计划、教育部博士点基金、湖北省自然科学基金、企业合作项目等。获2005年度教育部提名国家科学技术奖(自然科学奖)一等奖（第一完成人）、甘肃省高校科技进步二等奖（1988年）。
学术兼职：
中国色谱学会理事、副秘书长，教育部化学基础课程教学指导分委员会成员，中国仪器仪表学会分析仪器学会第六届理事会理事，湖北省化学化工学会色谱专业委员会主任委员，武汉市公安局缉毒委员会顾问
