rocket from the tombs

Rocket from the tombs，一支于1974年左右在克利夫兰成立的摇滚乐队，乐队风格是Protopunk，即朋克的前身。

乐队成立之后人员变动一直比较大，他们被公认的最好的一组成员是：

David Thomas、Peter Laughner、Craig Bell 、Gene O'Connor和Johnny Madansky

乐队解散后其中的成员又分别成立Dead boys和Pere Ubu两支乐队。

Rocket from the tombs后来在2003年重组。

他们最有名的歌是Ain't it fun 和 Sonic reducer，这两首歌也被后来的Dead boys 继承了下去，其中Ain't it fun还被Guns N'Roses在1993年的专辑"The Spaghetti Incident?"中翻唱。
