Wiley Park Station
Wiley Park StationWiley Park is a CityRail railway station on Sydney's Bankstown line. Located in the suburb of Wiley Park, it serves a residential area and a small shopping precinct. It has two side platforms.
HistoryThe station was added to the line in 1938, well after the line from Belmore to Bankstown opened in 1909[1], to interchange with the strategic King Georges Road. While adjacent stations have island platforms, this station was built with side platforms and the architecture of the station buildings is significantly different.
Platforms/ServiceThe station is served by four trains per hour for most of the time, with additional trains at weekday peak hours, and a half hourly service late in the evenings and on weekends.
Platform 1:
Bankstown Line - all stations and limited stops services to Central and the City Circle.
Platform 2:
Bankstown Line- all stations and limited stops services to Lidcombe or Liverpool via Bankstown.
AccessibilityThe station has street access to both platforms via ramps. This allows for Easy Access for wheelchairs.
