The Loves

The Loves are a heavily 1960s influenced pop band, formed in 2000 and based in Cardiff, Wales.

The Loves have attracted criticism from many reviewers and people in the music industry for their alleged reliance on pastiche in their recordings and live performances, although the Technicolour album was generally critically well received.

The Loves are probably best known at the time of writing for the publicity caused by their 2006 cover of "The Rainbow Connection" by Kermit the Frog. Bass player Danielle 'DC' Ward is also well known as a comedian and host of comedy shows in Hoxton.
