The Loose Salute,一支来自英国伦敦的独立乐队.乐队的成员都很喜欢接触大自然,露营,放风筝,结伴同游,尤其喜欢冲浪.在他们的MV中出现了大量的冲浪镜头,给人的感觉很阳光.这些不经意的日常小事和户外活动就是乐队创作灵感来源.2004发行过一张EP后,The Loose Salute直到2007年6月才发行首张正式专辑《Tuned To Love》.整张专辑风格统一,节奏适中,乐器繁杂而精致.女主唱Lisa Billson嗓音很棒,男声也足够清新派.完全复古了七八十年代流行小品曲调:简朴,清新,明快,暖人,颇受外界好评.
Boy hears girl singing while cookin in a cafe, boy and girl form band and name it "The Loose Salute". They lassoo their friends into joining and playing a plethora of instruments to create the sound you hear here. The Salute released a one off limited edtion EP for Best Before Records in late 2004 called "Suck It Up Buttercup". Since then the band have been hibernating in the studio with hot-shot engineer Gareth Parton (The Beta Band, The Go Team, The Pipettes, Mojave3) and producer Pritpal Soor creating their opus. The set of 11 songs tries to encapsulate togetherness, loneliness, love and lost loves, surfing, partying, wanderlust, home-cookin, beaches, fields, stars and bars.
