Alesana
乐队简介Alesana(发音同Alice Ana)是来自美国北卡罗莱纳州雷利市（ Raleigh, North Carolina）的六人组硬核摇滚乐队。
乐队名称的由来名称来源于美国马里兰州巴尔的摩的一条街道Alice Ana，该街道位于Fell's point附近。Fell's point也算是巴尔的摩具有历史意义的滨水码头地区。

Dennis "Denny Diablo" Lee ：主要负责screaming（2004年加入）
Shawn Milke：主唱，吉他手以及歌曲中演奏钢琴（2004年加入）
Patrick "Peezee" Thompson：吉他（2004年加入）
Jeremy "Jables" Bryan：鼓手（2005年加入）
Shane Crump ：贝司，screaming（2007年加入）
Jake Campbell：吉他（2008年加入）

乐队历史尽管乐队第一次演出是在马里兰州巴尔的摩，但正式成立是在2004年10月，并由Shawn Milke, Patrick Thompson, Dennis Lee, Steven Tomany 和 Daniel Magnuson五人组成。Alesana是2005年第一支加盟Tragic hero唱片公司的乐队。2005年5月他们发布了第一张唱片“try this with your eyes closed"。同年，Will Anderson取代了Daniel Magnuson鼓手的位置。
2006年发布的专辑”On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax“，灵感取自于希腊神话。比如Ambrosia，取材于《迈达斯国王和他的点金术》；The Third Temptation of Paris取材于特洛伊战争。2006年他们加入了Fearless唱片公司，2008年，专辑On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax曾在billboard榜单上位居44。
2008年，Alesana又完成了最新专辑”Where Myth Fades to Legend“的录制。专辑于08年6月3号发布，并引起网络轰动。歌曲中所有女声都由吉他手 Shawn Milke的姐姐Melissa完成。同上一张专辑相比，新专辑多数的歌的灵感都来自乐队成员最喜欢的格林兄弟中的寓言故事，除了”as you wish“取材于《公主新娘》。"All Night Dance Parties In The Underground Palace"则来源于安徒生童话《红舞鞋》，是Shawn Milke写给他未婚妻的。“This is Usually the Part Where People Scream ”是美剧“英雄”的写照。“Obsession is Such an Ugly Word”的特点就是乐队所有vocals参与的一部作品。
2009年1月20日，“Seduction”的MV正式发布；2009年3月10日专辑“punk goes pop 2"发布，其中包括由alesana翻唱的Justin Timberlake的作品”what goes around...comes around“。
2009年7月，alesana开始投入第三张专辑的编写中，根据Shawn Milke描述，新专辑会命名为”The Emptiness“。7月中旬，alesana的myspace页面应Shawn的要求，重新编排，将主题直接导向新专辑的构思。
