剧情介绍看书自修武士道的杀手「鬼狗」歼灭对象后，捡走目击少女的书本回家看。他下次杀人，刚好她还是坐在被害人身边看卡通，于是叫杀手把书还她。晴朗午后，鬼狗在公园吃冰时，同座的黑人小女孩拿出各种儿童不宜的科幻色情小说分享。有感于纽约的妇女阅读品味都很怪，杀手便把武士道修炼指南借她。但他毕竟很忙，不是全部时间都在读书的。昔日意大利黑帮老头曾偶然救了鬼狗一命，从此鬼狗视之如师，听他驱策四出暗杀。但对头上门要师父交出鬼狗抵命，师父也是忙不迭地出卖他。于是鬼狗一路杀上去，只留师父一条命……
