主要研究方向为英美文学与美国研究、文学理论与经典批评、比较文化研究等。
近年来出版专著《美国当代文化阐释》、理论译著《西方正典》以及教材 American Society and Culture等，并发表了有关英美文学、美国文化、文学理论和中西文化比较研究等领域的中英文学术论文共40余篇。
目前承担“美国社会与文化”、“西方文化”、“美国当代消费文化”、“后现代文学与文化全球化”、“美国文学经典与文化传媒”以及“当代英语女性文学研究”等本科生和研究生课程。

Publications --- more than 40 articles on American literature and culture, literary theories, and cultural studies; three books: An Interpretation of Contemporary American Cultural Globalization (2005), The Western Canon (tr., 2005) and American Society and Culture (textbook, 2004).
Teaching experiences --- courses include American Society and Culture, Western Civilization, Consumer Culture in Contemporary America, Postmodern Literature and Culture, Literary Canon and Cultural Media in America, and Contemporary English Feminist Literature.
